چکیده
Abstract Background Periods of drought are projected to increase in intensity and frequency across many parts the world, affecting freshwater availability for agriculture limiting cropping productivity. Exploring innovative opportunities utilise novel resistant crops should be prioritized sustainably meet growing demand food fibre. The potential benefits industrial hemp ( Cannabis sativa L .) as a fibre crop have been touted, but underlying evidence base such claims is conflicting. Hemp has several resistance traits that allow it thrive under water deficit, including deep roots effective stomatal regulation, studies report varying results requirements use efficiency. Scope In this context, we provide comprehensive discussion current state knowledge regarding range environments between varieties, highlighting physiological attributes contribute its with view guiding stimulating further research. Conclusions With relatively low compared other crops, shows great crop, offering exciting possibilities produce sustainable changing climate.

متن کاملAgronomy of fibre hemp (Cannabis sati6a L.) in Europe
Fibre hemp may yield up to 25 t above ground dry matter per hectare (20 t stem dry matter ha) which may contain as much as 12 t ha cellulose, depending on environmental conditions and agronomy. Its performance is affected by the onset of flowering and seed development. Effects of cultivar and management on yield and quality were tested at three contrasting sites in Italy, the Netherlands and th...

Introduction:Cannabis sativa (hemp) seeds are popular for their high nutrient content, and strict regulations are in place to limit the amount of potentially harmful phytocannabinoids, especially Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ9-THC). In Canada, this limit is 10 μg of Δ9-THC per gram of hemp seeds (10 ppm), and other jurisdictions in the world follow similar guidelines. Materials and Methods: We inv...
